Barista, a 16 processor Opteron server for bioinformatics, has been installed and is available for use by PR-AABRE researchers.
Barista is a new compute server for bioinformatics. It has 8 dual core Opteron processors, 32 GB RAM, and over 2 TB RAID storage. PR-AABRE researchers can request allocations of processing time on this machine, please fill out our research allocation form and make a note on it to request an account on barista.
